Brabazon is a thriving new mixed-use neighbourhood for North Bristol and the most exciting new city district in the South West. YTL – the award-winning company behind the project – has been working hard on transforming this historic former Airfield, located just six miles from the city centre of Bristol.
Today, this new urban quarter has a thriving community with over 150 occupied homes, a brand-new green space, and big plans for the immediate future, including the opening of the neighbourhood’s first community hub, gym and cafe, housed in the listed aircraft Hangar 16U.
Following a competitive tendering process, YTL appointed Encore as managing agent for Brabazon Estates Ltd, as well as for two new landmark apartment buildings: The Navigator Building and The Dials.
Encore is thrilled to join YTL on this exciting new journey at Brabazon.
The Hangar District – the first phase of new homes at Brabazon – consists of 302 award-winning, sustainable homes and apartments, green spaces and tree-lined streets, and is already home to a diverse close-knit community. And there’s still more to come in this phase – notably the restoration of a historic Grade-II listed aircraft hangar into a vibrant community hub for North Bristol – Hangar 16U.
As the managing agent, Encore will look after the communal spaces, amenities and systems in The Hangar District, including apartment buildings and any open spaces in the estate, including communal courtyard gardens.
Future phases at Brabazon will see a supersonic new 19,000-capacity arena open its doors to world-famous musicians, while Brabazon Park will be the largest new urban public park to be built in the South West for over 50 years. Meanwhile, the new business hub at The Enterprise District is designed to attract leading technology companies and local talent.
As Brabazon grows, with many new residents making the neighbourhood their home, Encore will also be providing pre-management support for future phases. This will play a crucial role in the growth of Brabazon, helping to shape its legacy by ensuring it remains an exciting, beautiful place to live, long after the final homes and amenities have been built.
