Encore picks up Property Management Gold

We were thrilled to pick up not one but two major accolades at The 2021 Negotiator Awards at London’s premier event venue The Grosvenor House Hotel on 26 November.

Collecting both a Silver Award for Employer of the Year and a coveted Gold for the Property Management Company of the Year has given the entire team a much-needed boost after the challenges of the past 18 months. Encore’s winning submissions highlighted the significant achievements of our people across all regions in which we operate, from cladding remediation projects to major works and key health and safety and sustainability initiatives.

The Negotiator Awards is the leading awards programme for estate and letting agents in the UK and their suppliers, and according to organisers this year saw a record number of entries across all 33 categories. Fourteen companies made it onto the Employer of the Year shortlist and nine onto the shortlist for Property Management Company of the Year. The panel of independent judges comprised a host of representatives from across the industry including Consultant Peter Bolton King FRICS, FIRPM, FNAEA; Propertymark CEO Nathan Emerson; CEO of The Guild of Property Professionals Ian McKenzie, and the Chief Executive of NRLA Ben Beadle. The judges commented:

"A very impressive entry. Their Covid planning demonstrated passion to maintain their staff welfare in addition to communicating with their clients what Covid steps they were taking. Excellent supporting examples. A business justly proud of their overall achievement."

The awards ceremony was attended by over 1000 guests and hosted by TV presenter, comedian and celebrity, Rob Beckett, who presented trophies and commendations to 77 agencies and suppliers. Rob was joined on stage by The Negotiator Publishing Director, Grant Leonard who commented:

“This has been a great evening of excitement and celebration, seeing the best in the business recognised and rewarded after such turbulent times. The significance and importance of the Awards should not be underestimated, they prove that the industry is thriving and positive, and we can’t wait to see what success 2022 brings.”
