Encore joined hundreds of other property professionals at The Eastside Rooms in Birmingham on 22 July for the 2021 Midlands Residential Property Awards ceremony and gala dinner and were delighted to pick up the Residential Property Management Agent of the Year award for the second year in a row.
Organised by Insider Magazine, the Midlands Residential Property Awards showcases the best projects and developers across the region and although it couldn’t happen in 2020 due to the pandemic, it was back this year bigger and better than ever.
Hosted this year by comedian Hal Cruttenden, the event is now into its sixth year and seeks to recognise all aspects of the residential property sector with awards including Housebuilder of the Year, Placemaking Project the Year, Architectural Practice of the Year, Residential Development of the Year, Residential Regeneration Project of the Year and special awards for Social Housing and Property Person of the Year.
Remarking on Encore’s winning submission for Residential Property Management Agent of the Year, the judges commented:
“Encore stood out from the other entries because of its focus on managing a wide range of assets. This is an agent with versatility in its blood.”
Our submission focused on the work we have been doing at several properties in the region, from replacing balconies and heating systems to cladding remediation and key health and safety improvements.
Associate Director Tom Hopson said
“Having picked up the winner’s trophy in 2020 without an event at which to celebrate, we were thrilled to collect the award again this year - particularly in light of what we have all been through.
Our team have worked incredibly hard under huge pressure during extraordinary times, and we are so very grateful to the judges for recognising their achievements. It goes without saying that we are hugely proud of the Encore team - and the part that each and every one of them has played in the Company’s ongoing success.”
