Business Development Manager - Midlands/North

Encore Estate Management are recruiting for a new Business Development Manager to join the team!

The overall purpose of this job is to generate organic growth by securing new management instructions for new-build and existing developments. In particular, a primary focus will be on cultivating an ongoing pipeline of instructions from developers, based on strong relationships and proven performance. In addition, you will seek instructions from RMCs/freeholders by generating leads in a systematic way and preparing amazing tenders and presentations. You will primarily focus on the regions covered by Nottingham and Manchester Offices. Following a new instruction, you will work with the mobilisation and estate management teams to ensure the estate is setup perfectly for successful ongoing management.

What you'll bring:

A background in estate management is essential
A track record of successfully dealing with developers, winning new RMC instructions (ideally) or working with RMCs is essential
Preparation of first-class tender documents and service charge budgets on new developments
Strong experience of budget management, financial control and delivering cost-efficiency
Detailed working knowledge of building management, systems maintenance and repair projects (eg. communal heating)
Knowledge of relevant legislation (eg. Landlord & Tenant Act, RICS Code etc) and the legal setup and arrangements of new management companies
